I left-click on the SNAP!™ poller to start the clock, but the clock does not appear-although the time music plays and the keypad data is collected.

The display of SNAP's countdown timer is suppressed when you have your external monitor or projector set to "Duplicate" in Windows display settings, and have the Presenter Mode checked in PowerPoint. To remedy this, un-check the Presenter Mode option and re-save the presentation, then launch it again from SNAP.
